- how to get team members accountable?
- encourage. as long as they're moving forward, you can stir them (get them moving).
- set example
- give responsibility (to respond and lead)
- understanding
- friendship
- what to do with worship that's up and down every week?
- know that in the end it's not by your might & power, but all in Gods hands.
- keep leading with joy and thanksgiving.
- don't get discouraged.
- we are not to judge how the service went by our own measure, like how many people lift up their hands.
- help bring people into the journey with God.
- sometimes we need to pull back a bit.
- how do we make people passionate about praise & worship?
- all we can do is lead people to Christ, in the end it's their own decision. they need to have their own revelation. we can only inspire.
- don't underestimate the power of prayer
- be consistent
- love Jesus, point people to Jesus
- relationship
- for most older people, it's hard to express their worship because they're never taught that way. we are not to judge them for not feeling it in the inside.
- how to choose the right key?
it has to work for the worship leader because he/she is leading, and also work for the congregation (and the band) - how to teach worship to kids?
- it's different when you lead adults and kids. eye contact, be accessible. not like a tv show. connect, demonstrate.
- song choice is important. make sure lyrically they understand and enough repetitive lines.
- sometimes we have to stop and let them teach us adult about worship. childlike faith. raw passion.
- how do you identify a potential worship leader?
- it's about the heart.
- on practical level: is it their passion to worship God?
- walk with them, disciple
- let the Holy Spirit get involve
- it takes time to be confident (highs and lows of life). you can't rush things that only time and perseverance and suffering and patience can test.
