acts 2:13, 15. eph 5:18
to be drunk is to be under the influence.
to be drunk in the Spirit means to be under the influence of the Spirit.
how to avoid a hangover? keep staying drunk.
when you get "sick" of church/ministry, it's a sign that you're not as "drunk" as you used to be. many churches experience hangover.
observations of a drunk:
- the way you talk changed. when you're drunk in Spirit, you speak positive (singing praises) instead of negative (complaining).
- sober person doesn't like a drunk
- is never far from the bench (in good and bad times)
- ugly things start looking attractive. if the Word of God is not attractive to you, there's something not right.
- has no feelings.
proverbs 23. when you worry too much about what other people feel/think about you, means you're not "drunk" enough. - has no pride (don't care about what other people think). get loose
- talks a lot, never shut up.
when you're full of Jesus, you will talk about Him (lifestyle with Jesus) - is a giver (we are to be a blessing) - giving, tithing
- loves everybody. life is too short to go bitter
- loves to fight
you can stand on your feet and ask "where is that devil?" - will do anything to get a drink.
when you're "thirsty", it doesn't matter who is the speaker
