• you can easily influence ppl when u r the source of their inspiration.
• if u want to win the man, win the heart first.
• relationship is very important. relationship: network for life, relate to ppl.
• have the ability to discern which one is good and bad.

in life there are 2 choices, either we're influencing ppl or we are influenced by ppl. be influenced by the right ppl. input determines output. the quality of influence depends on the quality of the ppl. bad ppl, bad influence. show me your friends and I'll show you your future.

as yourself, "are these ppl who come into my life going to bring me up or down?"

proverbs 13: 30 - walk with the wise and become wise, associate with the fool and get in trouble.

1 cor 15:33 - bad company corrupts good character.

the closer you are to a person, the greater their influence on you. spatial. distance (in your heart).

why are you brokenhearted? because you cannot keep your heart. keep your heart with all dilligent because from it comes the spring of life. know how to guard your heart is the key.

PATTERNS OF HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP:

1. every relationship starts with an introduction (packaging). it's formal. don't be fooled by the packaging. you don't haveto believe in everything that was said in the introduction. the packaging always say something nice. if you want to know the product inside , the real thing, go beyond the packaging. know the real person.
2. acquaintance. get to know the person better. ask lots of questions. from the heart, the mouth speaks. luke 6:45
3. friendship. win-win situation in this relationship. a true friend: someone who knows you and still likes you.
4. intimate - informal. not every friends can be intimate with you. only a handful. best friend. best buddy. Jesus loves everybody but he has only 12 disciples who go around with Him, and only 3 which have closer relationship with Him, and only one (John) that is his dearest. only in this stage of relationship you will know about what the bible says: iron sharpens iron. sharpens: creates heats (meaning they don't always agree with each other). but from the heat it makes them sharper. iron can't sharpen the other iron without touching each others.

• one of the greatest gift of life: the gift of access. Jesus gives us access to the Father.
• the closer you are to a person, the greater the chance to be hurt.

every sin that you bring into a relationship will bring a seed of death into that relationship.
