king david did well because he had a desire to build God's house.
God's eyes & heart will ALWAYS be about His house (church, the people).
live a life that's committed to God's house and his house.
the house should be a place of joy, celebration, sense of thanksgiving, a generous God.
the new testament church is not a building/place, it's a family.
don't underestimate the power of belonging to a church. our arms will get longer (to reach out, make a difference on earth).

Luke 19:28-38
God will give us vehicles (donkeys) for Jesus to sat on it to fulfill His will in our lives. God will give you an idea, something new, a strategy, innovative, fresh to take you to God's promise and make a difference in this world. So often we make it complicated, but actually it's as simple as what's in your hand, what is your talent, and be faithful with it.
